Packing

Hi Everyone :)
I should be packing but at the moment we are suspending my cell phone service and I'm feeling quite anxious about not being able to communicate with anyone. (I am planning to get a phone down there, but for these several days what will I do??) I hope to post here occasionally from Santiago Atitlan. Anyway, I think it is time to put my entire life into several suit cases :) You can reach me on Skype where my username is rebecca.stein or by email: rebecca.stein@duke.edu.

PS Here you can see that I planned to pack Mojo ...

Hello Rebecca,
How are you doing down there! It sounds like you are at at wonderful home, with a wonderful host family. This is going to be a tremendous opportunity for you in so many ways. It will be exciting following your stay on this blog. (This is my first time on a blog!)(Unless your Mom was on one when she was on her "world tour." I corresponded with her on the computer somehow. I hope she is still doing just fine.)
I took John Stevens to the airport today to return to Hawaii. He retired this year and lives in Hawaii full time now. It was amazing to see how healthy he looked. He was back to his old self, almost completely. He stayed here in Dublin in Holly's room, where you and Chris stayed. Taco must not have been too happy with him. Taco really peed on the carpet and so far two carpet rug shampooings still allows doggie pee smell to emmanate. Taco was whining at the bedroom door when I was working on John's back and hands so I thought he wanted to come in to sleep thinking that it was bedtime and Sue and I were in there. Well, I let him in and he does his "I nned a back rub wiggling around with the accompanying silly grin on his face. He was jealous! So, I had to take him upstairs with Sue who was getting ready for bed and reading. That's our Taco!!!
The workshop went well. We had training two days and the calligraphy/exhibit/sale/workshops for two days at Nakashima's. One of the girls fromo work, Connie, came with some other girls. She is half Vietnamese. Kevin took a liking to her because he was wondering if she would go out on a date with him. Kevin has been talking about e-harmony recently.
So, tomorroiw when I get back to work I'll talk to Connie! This could be interesting!!! (On Wed. Kevin and I usually get together for dinner.)
As usual Joe handled everything at Nakashima's in good fashion. Actually I tend to get in the way!. Oh well.
Don't forget that I need a mailing address to send a package to. Also a list of anything that you could use.
My e-mail address is gary.ohama@gmail.com
This computer stuff is fantastic.
I was really glad to see you on the e-mail list.
Take care.
Keep spreading your joy. It is healing in so many ways.
Pray.
Don't drink the water.

Love,
Gary
